I knew it! I knew I wore a shower curtain once.

I just found this old photo, the only proof I have that a distant memory of being strapped to a drapery rod and forced to wear a shower curtain wasn't actually a dream. Good god. How did they let me out of the house like that?

That was the last day in my life that I ever believed anyone when they said I looked great *against* my better judgment.

Do you have any mortifying photos of yourself as a wee lad or lass? (I can't possibly be the only one!)

Oh yes indeedy.

But you're going to have to hunt for them (some are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ourconroyfamily/).

This is what I get for scanning in and posting all the old family photos, though. :)

I've still got three crates to do...

(There are also some floating around on Facebook... but that's to be expected.)

I think I remember that dress!

Yes, I've sure got a lot of embarrassing photos. The best is when my son looks at my pictures and say, "Mommy, you look like a little boy in this picture." I had that Dorothy Hammill haircut. Priceless!

I sure do. And how appropriate that you posted this the same week I planned to finally scan in all my old family photos. I'm not sure I'll be brave enought to post embarrassing ones. But hey, you only live once, right?

Hahaha - not any I'm going to put on the internet!
At least you can claim your bad fashion wasn't your fault!

Maybe it was a Halloween costume? Please, please tell me that was the case...

I know there's plenty of me in rather embarrassing Halloween costumes but none wearing household items.
