The wrong way to catch a spider larger than your face

I found this at the Laughing Squid and actually fell OUT of my chair. 1 minute vid. OMFG.

Is there a right way to catch a spider bigger than your face? I love that little girl's scream. :)

Wait, you fear spiders but you can watch that video? I cringed just at the sight of that monster! Ack!

I've contemplated conditioning my Gerbil, but I never thought of doing it to myself. I'm sure B would be more than happy to experiment on me though! Thanks for the advice! :D

A spider about a FIFTH of the size of that disappeared down the side of my bed a few weeks back and I'm STILL wondering where it is. This video is the precise reason why I never try to catch them. Ew!

"They are able to travel extremely fast, often using a springing jump while running, and walk on walls and even on ceilings. They also tend to exhibit a "cling" reflex if picked up, making them difficult to shake off and much more likely to bite."

Holy crap. The cling thing is too much. Florida and Hawaii!!! I hope I never have one on my body.
